EC2005 is THE north american meeting, like WC2004 was the only one for 2004.

There's been more chat about what days we'll have it on. Personally for me I want to lose as few vacation days of work as I can. I think anyone else who works during the week but not weekends would agree. In this case I think it'd be best if it started on or a little before a weekend. Then it would continue on into the next week, say, to Wednesday. People can leave whenever they want too, but that would give about a week.
