The way they would hip up a game like Jazz is if they added blood and gore to the mix, added some butt ugly monsters, and make it look like you were staring at black paper, but thats what Doom 3 is for. 
Anyways if Epic was given the go ahead to create a JJ3. I don't think they would change the name just to make it "hip." (plus think of all the hate mail they would get if they ever decided to.) 
I don't think name changes make the game hip, it's the content in the game that does. IMHO (In my humble opinion)
