MS Paint, and it shows. *gets smacked by n00b*

No, seriously, I like working with MS Paint. Love it, even. It's so easy to use and wondertastic!

I used to do all my work in MSPaint, but I do most of my work in a combination of GraphicsGale and Paint with an emphasis on the former.

Paint Shop Pro 7. Even Cornflake01 was made in Paint Shop Pro 7. Turn off the antialiasing and it's like a MSPaint with a zillion undos and palette editor =D

The poll doesn't really answer what you would use if you had the choice. And such a poll would have bias or very few votes since I doubt many people have used MS Paint, Paint Shop Pro, and Photoshop, as well as additional programs, extensively for making tilesets.

Anyway, my arguments in the other thread were not to say that MS Paint can't be used to make good tilesets, but to say other programs (particularly PSP) can make creating tilesets much, much easier if you know what you're doing.

All of the above (if Elements counts as Photoshop) plus The Gimp and TeraLogic Texture Maker and Palette Suite. Mostly the Gimp and Palette Suite though.

It's a really good MS Paint drawing, but I'm not sure what your point is. (I'm assuming it's a reply to my post, tell me if I'm wrong)

I'm just saying paint is an great tool, if you're adept at using it.

The tools doesnt matter all the much, if you're good with them.

Maybe if you're really good with them and/or have a lot of extra time. And getting good could take a lot of time itself. But I could imagine most people could benefit from the extra features of other programs such as grids and from the (usually) improved functionality of the old MS Paint tools. At the least, some other programs can make organizing the tiles of a set a lot easier.
