Trying to track down an old tileset...
I used to run a level that I called "Pipe Maze" or something like that. I used a tileset that consisted of different-colored pipes - not much else, though. It was pretty simple overall, but I had a lot of fun with it. I already looked through the downloads section, but short of downloading everything there, I can't find the tileset. If anyone can help, or more amazingly, if anyone played the level and -remembers- it 5 years later, I'd appreciate the help. - Teflon Eppy - oldschool JJ2 player. |

No, but it gave me a lead as to what I -was- looking for... the name "Mezz", mentioned as a tileset it was similar to, jogged my memory. I'll have to see if I can find that one anywhere. Thanks, albeit indirectly. ^_^

Looks like Mez04 is a really crappy tileset. It's got an entire 10 tiles, and that's including the blank. =p
It's easier finding a tileset, by the way, if you know the name of it. ^_^

P.S. I'm also -very- rusty with JCS - it's that whole not-having-used-it-in-four-years thing. I'm not looking for -that- much of a challenge.

JCS is very easy if you can compute math(s) in your head at decent speeds, like me. It also helps if you memorize the hotkeys. Also, running JCS at the highest resolution possible (I use 1280x1024) can really make a difference.
Also, you might want to get the updated JCS.ini if you don't have it. It helps out a lot, trust me. |

Long, long time ago...
A long time back, I used to be pretty good with JCS - it's less of an "I don't know how" than an "I don't remember how". Just working with it for an evening has really jogged my memory with regards to how it's done. That said, I appreciate the reference y'all gave me, and I'll most certainly check 'em out. Worst thing that can happen is that I wasted a few minutes of my time. =p
