However, he's a great level designer.... the levelmaking tips on his website helped me a lot.

Nonono, CliffyB is the lead designer of Epic Games, and a co-creator of the Unreal series.

I sent him two e-mails about the Jazz Jackrabbit series. He told me that there won't be any patching for JJ2 (expectable, indeed..) and he wasn't even sure if they still have the source code or not (or at least that's what he said..).

The only experience I've had with his work is with the Jazz games, but he's definitely a high-quality designer.
Although I do wonder why he named the jumping turtle enemies in Ceramicus what he did.

I won't judge about his personality because I don't know him, but I like his level designing skills and therefore voted the first option.

I'm not too fond of him. Jeh makes better levels, and Cliffy doesn't even respond to emails. Besides which, he was in charge of designing JJA and we all know how much he messed that up.
(Trafton's opinion is very well thought out. Ask him for it.)
