![]() Im going to crawl the web some more for assistance ! |

Fawriel has just commented on your Spaz model in the other thread, which should probably be able to help you a little.
Also, I've read there is a demo available, which I missed it seems, could you give me a link?

Well, I finally caught up on stuff.
..okay, I didn't really READ all the posts, just looked at pictures, watched videos, added n00b to my MSN list, etc. But DANG. This project just keeps rocking more and more! I swear, I may not know any modelling or anything, but if you ever need an artist for anything here, just tell me, I was going to practice the JJ2 style anyway! *notes down to make that title screen soon, too* Oh, and it might be good if you added milestones like that demo to the first post of the thread so people wouldn't have to search the hundreds of pages here.

The demo's framerate isn't good. I'm getting around 48 or 52 at the maximum, and it slows down to 30 when shooting. When breaking crates, the game becomes quite choppy and it slows down to 10 - 13 FPS. I'm running on GeForce FX 5600 (With motherboard only supporting 4x AGP
![]() But anyways, Happy Birthday! ![]() |

Seeing as nothing of piet's has loaded in months, I'm not too worried.
Happy birthday. |
Apr 26, 2005, 10:26 AM | |
@ EvilMonkey: How could it be that I get a framerate of 273 and you get such a low one? =o
Anyways, I already congratulated in the other thread, but happy birthday Baggers dude. ![]()

Edit: Could someone kindly go over to my house and shoot my nVidia card with an M-16? And replace my motherboard and video card with better ones- preferrably ATI? Thanks! |

Did someone mention an AR15 series weapon without the proper designation for the recent model?
I could go into an explanation right here. GeForce cards are awesome, what's wrong with you?

Wow thanks people, im back now !
I have implemented strafing though that has opened yp some lovely new collision bugs for me to fight ! Also I am dealing with the request for mouse control, i have implemented it appart from looking up and down now and i have to add the cross hair...however I have made it that you can choose either freelook OR the targeting system, with way each method of play becomes more of a feature to the game, rather than an alternative style. Work continues, i just wish i could show more for it, you can really capture mouse control in a screenshot! About graphics cards, im using a radeon 9600 currently, and havnt boosted up for this exactly reason! i had a worry shortly after starting here that many of you may not have very powerful machines, its usch a change as at the programming forums i have a relativly low spec graphics card...that lot are on serious kit. I will attempt to increase performance... but im not sure how much ill be able to as im limited to what DBpro can achieve. The spec they recommend is . 733 MHz Pentium III Processor or above Windows 98 / 2000 / ME / XP (Home/Pro) 400 MB of hard disk space 128 MB of Ram DirectX Version 9.0b+ Fully DirectX compatible Graphics Card with 64 MB Memory or more and Hardware 3D Acceleration Direct X compatible Sound Card 16x Speed CD-Rom Drive Im not making use of pixel shaders though so no need to worry aboyt that! Id love to hear what kind of spec you people have so i can see how much extra oomph i have to get from this program ! |
